<> CWC TICKET POLICY

Unless otherwise indicated in writing, tickets are for General Admission and there are no exchanges and no refunds. In the event of calamities, ex: events that cause the closing of film venues, etc.; CWC reserves the right to reschedule or replace the film event and honor tickets purchased for the original date, but such offer may be time-sensitive and in no way constitutes an obligation or guarantee on the part of Cincinnati World Cinema.

WILL CALL: CWC uses TicketFusion for Internet and toll-free telephone ticketing -- it is secure and reliable with fees that are among the lowest in the ticket industry. TicketFusion has reduced the fixed fees charged when purchasing through their service. See the new fee schedule at the bottom of this web page. To obtain tickets purchased in advance on the Internet or by telephone using the TicketFusion ticket service, please present the purchase confirmation email and your driver's license and student picture ID, as appropriate, at the Will Call table. In the event of confusion regarding purchase status, i.e.: you think you have purchased on-line but do not have a confirmation email and we do not have a record of this purchase, you will be asked to pay at the door. If we can later verify your on-line purchase, the amount you paid at the door will be promptly refunded.

<> DISCOUNTS

Generally - but not always - CWC offers three kinds of discount tickets:
  • for high school and college students with current, valid student ID;
  • for members of ETA (Enjoy the Arts) with current, valid ETA ID;
  • for groups of eight or more students, for selected events.
    If requested by box office personnel, you will need to show a current, valid photo ID such as a drivers license. Discounts will not be extended for out-of-date, no-date, or obviously bogus IDs. ID-scammers will be forced to watch endless reruns of Married with Children. Discounted tickets are NOT AVAILABLE at our local merchant outlets - Lookout Joe, Sitwell's, the Coffee Emporium and Shake It. Please DO NOT ASK personnel at our outlets to sell you discounted tickets.

    Prospective purchasers are advised to check specific film event web pages for the availability of discount tickets. If you have questions, call 859 781 8151.

    Typically, the discount is 20%, i.e.: a $10 ticket for $8, available at the door only. Discounts are exclusive of any surcharge or fee that may be levied by a particular venue, such as the Carnegie Arts Center. Discounts are not cumulative and cannot be combined with any other type of discount or price reduction, such as series packages, combo tickets and Sunday double-feature tickets. The above discounts are not available for Oscar Shorts, nor for multi-media events that include live performances, art exhibits, etc., featuring third parties.

    <> ON-LINE BOX OFFICE            Click here for on-line tickets

    Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, click on the link above. As many of our film events sell out, this is the best way to make sure you get tickets. If you are a busy person and your time is at a premium, this is the fastest, easiest and most cost-effective way to have tickets waiting in your name at Will Call.

    <> LOCAL TICKET OUTLETS

    CWC ticket outlets are conveniently located on the perimeter of the city center - Mt. Lookout, Clifton, Northside and Downtown. If you will be near one of these locations and wish to avoid ticket service charges or possibly missing an event because of sell-out, these local merchants graciously sell tickets for most CWC film events. ** For events with high demand, local outlets sometimes sell out their allotment of tickets - we suggest that you call ahead before making a trip. Ticket outlet locations may sometimes change based on the number of screenings, venue, ticket types and double-bill combinations. Generally, these establishments will have CWC tickets but you should call a given outlet before going for tickets.

    When you pick up your tickets, please take a moment to become familiar with the establishment you are visiting -- they help with CWC tickets because they care about the community -- and they are the best at what they do! Everyone likes to be appreciated, so let them know that CWC sent you and thank them for selling our tickets. And while you are there, make a purchase if the spirit moves you -- they deserve our support and patronage.

    <> CWC VENUES

    The Carnegie Center for the Performing and Visual Arts, aka: The Carnegie Arts Center
    only for CWC film events held at that venue.

    1028 Scott Blvd., Covington KY, 41011; 859-491-2030.
    The Carnegie Art Center box office is open for telephone and in-person orders Tuesday through Friday, 12:00 - 5:00 pm. If you are a student, or an Enjoy The Arts (ETA) member eligible for discounted tickets, remember to bring the appropriate ID to validate your discounted ticket.
    NOTE: Any ticket physically sold by the Carnegie incurs a $1.00 facility charge IN ADDITION to the face value of the ticket -- this applies to tix purchased in advance by phone or in person, and tix sold at the door. Examples: an advance ticket with a face value of $8 would cost $9 if purchased via the Carnegie; at $10 ticket purchased at the door would cost $11. Cincinnati World Cinema does not receive this additional $1.00 - think of it as comparable to the service charge for purchasing on the Internet.
