CWC December Newsletter

Oscar season is upon us... Black comedy, crime thriller, family drama, the Shorts and Live Music
Thanks to all who attended our recent documentaries. Lives Well Lived, Kusama and Dark Money topped your ratings as excellent, with Love, Gilda and Joan Jett close behind.
The annual awards season is upon us, with Oscar Shorts coming in February and March. Before then we're proud to exclusively present two 2019 Oscar best foreign film candidates – The Guilty, December 1 and 5; and Shoplifters, January 4, 5 and 8; Both are exceptional, not to be missed.
And, we've included Iceland's remarkable 2018 Oscar entry, Under the Tree, part of the December 1 double-feature with The Guilty, repeating solo on December 4.
Also in December, on the 14th, we have a live musical performance, Christmas with No Promises, featuring Ohio's preeminent (and Cincinnati's favorite) a cappella group in a song fest for the entire family.
Please tell your friends about our lineup and new home at 719 Race St. and forward this newsletter so they will know about coming events. As always, if you have questions or need assistance call 859.957.FILM.

See you soon,

Darkly comedic, two families, one dog, one cat, one tree. Dry humor, satire, marital discord, conflict and revenge among neighbors, an absurdist twisted thriller with an "Oh Wow" ending – think "Fargo" in Reykjavik.
